The mission of The Rochelle Lee Fund is to develop readers — that is, children who not only know how to read, but do read — frequently, widely, and willingly.

Core Beliefs

The Rochelle Lee Fund has embraced four core beliefs that guide the organization’s work.  We believe:

¨ Every child deserves the opportunity to become a successful reader

¨ Teachers are vital to developing students who are readers and, more broadly, to improving urban education
